Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day weekend we thought there was no better way to celebrate than to head down to the Beach House and hang out on the beach with family and friends. Our friends Danny and Lindsay meet us down there Sunday night and we made a yummy dinner (thanks Lindsay and Nicole!) and played games. On Monday we hit up the beach and had a fun day!

My 25th Birthday

I think this had to be one of my favorite birthday's yet...the day before my birthday my friend invited me to American Idol and of course I had to find a way to go (babysitters, etc.) Thank you Tori for watching my boys until Wyatt got home from school. We had so much fun!!! That night we sat just six rows from the front and were right by all the top 12 idols, by Anoop, Blake Lewis, Simon Fuller and many more fun celebs...well I was determined to get tickets to the finale show, so I went down with some girlfriends my bday morning and asked everyone waiting in line for their tickets if anyone had extras. So these two nice men pulled me asaide to tell me that they have two extra...score! So I waited in line with them (with Crew and Hud) and we got our tickets! I picked up a babysitter later that day and Wyatt and I went to the finale. It was incredible! So much fun being in the Nokia theater and seeing so many talented performers. Then we topped the night off with dinner at Houston's. It was a great day! And if this isn't enough, Wyatt spoiled me with jeans, candles, balloons, cupcakes, and a trip to HAWAII in August. I can't wait! Thanks for making my day so special Wyatt...I love you!

the boys new pool.

Wyatt insisted on getting this for the boys while we were at Costco the other day and I have to say I am glad we purchased it. The boys absolutely LOVE it! Now every morning when we wake up Crew asks..."Mom, is it warming up outside yet?"

Cute Lyla and Huddy...He is obsessed with her.

On May 7th, my Uncle unexpectedly passed away so Tori and I and our boys piled in my car and made the trek up to Granite Bay for his funeral. I am so glad that I decided to go because it was a big testimony builder for me. I feel blessed just knowing what we know about life after death and knowing that we will return to our Heavenly Father and we will be all reunited when we pass and that we will be together FOREVER as families. We sang "Families can be together forever" at his funeral and I swear every time I sing that song, I start balling just because it's so true. FAMILY is what matters. And I love each and every single person so much in my family. I love having such a big family and appreciate everything they do for me and each other. I am so grateful for the example that my brother and sisters are to me. I love how close we all are with one another. I love how my mom would always tell us..."Now remember...No empty chairs." I feel the exact same way! We love you Uncle Gary!

We also decided to do some "fun" things while we were in GB so we went to the Folsom Zoo, rode the train, had a BBQ at Nana and Poppy's house with all our family, went out to Rick and Kelly's house so we could see the new chicken coup my brother just built, went swimming, played in the backyard with cousins and enjoyed playing games and chatting with one another. We love going and visiting Mimi and Papa's "big house" as all the grandkids say.

Loving bath time with friends and lots of bubbles!

All the kids were playing at the park and then Kristie found Crew over by the lake doing this....hilarious! (I swear I didn't teach him that!)

Loving the Splash Pad

My friend Kristie invited me and Sachia to have a little "get-away" for a couple of days. We had so much fun and lived in our swim suits all day every day. The kids had a blast with eachother and were so good! Thanks Kristie! We are going to make this a yearly trip weather you like it or not!! ;) I am going to miss having you and Kooper around! Good luck where ever you guys end up!

Mother's Day at the BeachHouse

We spent Mother's Day at the BeachHouse with most all the family. (We missed Rick and Jessica's families) All of the cousins love getting together so they can play/wrestle. So went went across the street from my parents house to get some energy out of the little ones and to snap a few photos. We were all in goofy moods as you can tell :)
