Football with Dad

these two boys think the world of their dad
Navy loves being right in the middle of the action
One of the boys favorite things to do together is playing football. Wyatt already has the boys running routes and they love every minute of it. Even though Wyatt can't be as hands on as a father as he would like these days, he still somehow finds a way to do almost everything he could before he lost his leg. I had to go out and buy two soft (inside) footballs so while Wyatt was recovering he could still throw the ball around with his boys. Enjoy these little videos I took of Crew and Hudson playing ball with their dad...

Joe Joe's 30th Rollerskating Bday!

skating with Lisa

Crew & Hud with the birthday boy himself!

Tori and I

Go Mom & Lisa!

our 4th attempt at getting a picture together
For Joe's 30th birthday Tori put together a fun surprise party for him. Of course he already figured it out before he even got to the skating rink. We had such a blast's been forever! Wyatt obviously didn't come since he can't even skate so trying to help two boys skate for the first time was a little bit of a challenge but luckily I had Tori and Lisa there to help. Crew started catching on towards the end but Hudson gave up after his first time around. Such a fun night!

Mimi and Crew played tic tac toe to keep him occupied during dinner

Papa was lucky enough to sit by Hud during dinner ;)

Crew's Thanksgiving feast

Mimi was playing with Navy during dinner making her a baby out of a napkin and then made her into a little pilgram

After dinner my Mom and I put up our Christmas tree. Love Christmas time!
This year our family was suppose to spend Thanksgiving with Wyatt's family but since Wyatt got an infection in his stump we had to stay home. He had to get an IV put in and inject medicines twice a day into the IV for a week. He also couldn't tolerate sitting in the car for more than an hour with out getting very uncomfortable. So we opted to just stay home so Wyatt could rest and heal properly so he could ensure he'd get his prosthetic soon.
My parents came down from Granite Bay to spend Thanksgiving at the BeachHouse so we invited them to spend dinner with our family at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. It was the most low-key, mess free Thanksgiving ever. I needed that and so did my mom (she's been taking care of my grandma and grandpa for months). After dinner we came back to my house and the boys watched football while my Mom and I put up my tree and some Christmas decorations. It was the perfect Thanksgiving if you ask me!

Crew's Kindergarten Thanksgiving Sing

Crew's best friend Wesley

After their sing, they each got a paper sack with popcorn, a cutie, homemade mini pumpkin pies made by the kids themselves and a water.

love my little Kindergartener

I am thankful for having turkeys...Crew

Crew's other best friend Isaiah

Before the Thanksgiving break, Crew's teacher put together the cutest Kindergarten Thanksgiving Sing. The kids sang about 4 songs and are just the cutest little things. Crew has such a phenomenal teacher...she adores all the kids and is so interactive with them. She's the only Kindergarten teacher who puts together little things like this. So grateful for Crew and the little man he is becoming.

Amber's Bday GNO

We celebrated Amber's birthday in Beverly Hills at Villa Blanca. It was such a great evening out with some of my favorite girls. One of the ladies on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills owns this restaurant so Amber picked it. I didn't think the food was that great but despite that we had a lovely night. Sachia got sick on the way home and I don't think any of us will ever forget this. It was hysterical now that it's over and I look back on it. The whole drive home she has her head out of Amber's window. Hilarious! She thought it was from the wine in our pasta...haha! Nope...the flu! Happy Birthday Amber!
