Crew turns 6!

Crew woke up to Balloons in his room and this trap on his door.

It feels like just yesterday I had my first born. Still cute as ever!

Saturday fun.

We now start our Saturday mornings off with the boys Basketball games

Shrimp Macadamia Nut Roll at Houston's

Had to get some Dots cupcakes with Whitney and Sachia while we waited for our table

feel so blessed with great friends
Our Saturday mornings now start out with going to our boys basketball games. They are so much fun to watch even though it's complete chaos at times. Crew and Hudson totally keep their team together. I guess their daddy taught them well.
That night we went out to Houston's for dinner with the Willis' and the Cameron's. So yummy! We also walked over to Dot's cupcakes to bring some home to our families while we were waiting. I may have snuck a mini one before dinner as a little appetizer. After a yummy dinner we went to see Zero Dark Thirty with the Willis'. It was amazing!

Wyatt's new leg!

Wyatt got his second temporary prosthetic leg on January 22 and is really happy about it. It is much slimmer than the first temporary and is much lighter. He seems to be walking a lot better with this prosthetic. Since he first got this temporary he still has to go in about once a week to his prosthesis to get adjustments so it's more comfortable for him since his stump is still shrinking down. This is Wyatt's new life and it is definitely  an adjustment but he is making the best of it and still positive as ever. For the rest of his life he will be at his prosthesis making adjustments to his leg. It's a process that never really ends.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day at Riviera Beach

These three are truly the best of friends!

The girlies...Navy, Jane and Lyla

Our little fam...we missed daddy!

Crew's obsessed with Boogie Boarding and didn't even care that he didn't have a wet suit and that the water was freezing!

Fun at the Fergie's house after the beach
For MLK day we headed down south to play at the beach with my sisters and their families. Wyatt had to go meet with a dentist in Newport Beach so unfortunately he couldn't join us. We missed him a lot! We played at Riviera Beach in San Clemente and then went back to the Fergie's house to clean up and eat dinner. It was a fun day as usual with all the cousins together!

Rocky and Amanda

Went to breakfast at Hash House a go go. It was yummy with huge portions!

Spur of the moment we decided to head to Vegas for the weekend, while Wyatt's parents were in town willing to watch our kids. We drove the quick 3 hour drive and met up with an old friend of mine who is a dentist in Summerlin so Wyatt could talk to him about running a business, etc. We spent about 3 hours with him in his gorgeous practice and got a lot of valuable information.
Next it was off to Rocky and Amanda's house in Summerlin to pick them up and head out for the night. We went to all you can eat Sushi and ate way too much food! After Sushi we went to play blackjack at Red Rock Casino in Summerlin until Amanda got carded (and didn't have her ID on her) so we decided to head down to the strip and got a yummy frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity and played a little more blackjack in Ceasers until Wyatt needed to get back home because his leg was killing him.
The next morning I went to my good friend Courtney's work (she works at a Med-spa in Summerlin) where she gave me a free photofacial. I loved it and the results are amazing! So fun seeing my friend who I love dearly. After the facial I met up with The Tanners and Wyatt at Hash House a go go for a yummy breakfast and then we were on our way back home to Pasadena. Thanks for the fun trip Tanners. We love you guys!!

Happy 1st Birthday to my Navy!!!
To celebrate Navy's 1st birthday I just invited a few close friends for cake and ice cream at our house. I had so much fun decorating for a little girl. I think I may have got a little carried away. I made her ruffle pink cake and also made her a little smash cake. Navy was so into her birthday. She knew everything was all about her and loved every minute of it. When we sang happy birthday to her, her face lit up with excitement. And when she opened all her presents she got sooo excited for each one. Thanks to all my dear friends who have made this last year a little easier for us. And to all of you who show your love to Navy. She loves each and every one of you! It was the sweetest thing. I will forever remember her priceless expressions.
We love our little girl with all our hearts. Navy truly was a blessing to our family and we all can't seem to get enough of her. She makes every single day of ours brighter. We love you Navy beans!! XOXO
