We had such an enjoyable Christmas this year. We spent this Christmas up at my Mom and Dad's house in Granite Bay, CA. There were 12 kids and 14 adults all staying at my parents house. It was loud and crazy but so much fun! All 16 of the cousins just played, played and played. They all had a ball and just today Crew was asking me when we can go to the "big house" again so he can play with all of his cousins. All of them love it up there. Quads, the swing, the game room, and movies keep them busy. While the kids were playing and the guys were playing (movies & Tahoe skiing) the girls were busy cooking away so that 26 mouths were always fed. Santa even came to our house the night before Christmas Eve to see how the kids were and to give them a little treat. Crew also got to see Santa at the Wertz's annual Christmas party (Wyatt stayed home with Hudson). You should have heard Crew tell Santa what he wanted the last time....After sitting on 4 Santas laps I think he finally got it down! He just kept on telling him more and more. We had a great Christmas! This Christmas was extra special for my family this year just having my Mom and Dad there to enjoy it with us. If you didn't hear...my Mom and Dad got in a terrible car accident the first week of December and it really is a miracle that they are alive and they are so lucky that they only had minor injuries. I think this was a BIG wake up call to all of us. Just how important family really is and how quick ones life can change. I am so grateful my parents are here with us today. My parents mean so much to me and so much to my boys. They truly look up to and admire their Mimi and Papa just as much as I do, if not more. We love you mom and dad! Anyways....we are grateful that we had such a wonderful Christmas with all of my family. We love everyone so much and love the chaos that comes with a big family. We miss all of you already!
