Tonight we had our wards annual Trunk-or-Treat party. I have to say that I think it was one of the best trunk-or-treat ward parties I have ever been to. All the ward members went all out on decorating their trunks and we even had the In-N-Out truck cater the event. It was delicious! The boys had such a fun time dressing up as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Crew=Leonardo & Hudson=Raphael) and thought it was so much fun getting "free" candy from everyone. Every holiday gets more and more fun with these boys since they are really starting to understand everything. A special thanks to Nana for making the boys costumes. They are amazing and were such a huge hit! Happy Halloween!

Ellen's Halloween Taping

A bunch of my girlfriends all got tickets to Ellen's Halloween taping and since it was her "Halloween episode" we all had to dress up in costume. I decided to be a peacock and I had such a fun time putting my costume together. My friend Kat did my hair and makeup, and I must admit it made my costume! We had "standby" tickets so I went down at 7:30 in the morning to get our numbers and luckily we got into the studio...not only did we make it in but we got front row seats! We all had such a blast and a few of the girls in our group even won best costumes (Russel, IT girl, Tampax box, and Cloudy w/ a Chance of Meatballs). Great job ladies!! Don't forget to watch/record tomorrow's (10/29) Ellen and look for me!

A fun filled Friday!

Since Wyatt had the day off from school we decided to take the boys to Disneyland since Wyatt rarely gets to come with us. Disneyland at Halloween time is the best...the decorations, the costumes, just everything! Disney sure knows how to do it right. We did all of California Adventure and then went over to Disneyland side and ate some yummy broccoli cheddar soup in bread bowls for lunch and we met up with our good friends, Tara and Wesley and went on a few more rides with them and then decided to call it a day. Crew and Huddie loved having their Dad with them. It was super nice for me too since they both wanted nothing to do with me and just wanted Wyatt to hold them the entire day. They love their Dad so much and love spending quality time with him.

After Disneyland we went down to Phil's BBQ in San Marcos for some yummy dinner and then went to Lisa and Ty's house for Trey's 8th birthday party. Crew and Hudson had such a fun time playing with all the "big boys" at the party. Crew seriously was in heaven. It was the cutest thing....he just thought he was one of the eight year old boys. We carved pumpkins, played games and played more games. Wyatt and I were in charge of judging the pumpkins to see who's was the spookiest. Lisa is seriously the best host...thanks again Lisa!

Puddles.

We have been cooped up inside this whole week because of all the rain (which I am loving) so I thought the boys would have fun getting a little soaked out in our front yard in all the puddles. And boy did they love every minute of it! I love my crazy boys.

Today we went to Underwood Family Farms with some of our friends in the South Pas. Ward. I have never been here before but have heard a lot about it and it definitely did not disappoint. It is by far the best pumpkin patch I have ever been to. The kids had so much fun! We took my friend Tara's little girl, Scarlet, with us to give her mom a little break since she just had her second baby. The three of them had a blast with all the other little kids and just loved running around seeing and feeding the animals, going through tunnels, riding/climbing on trains, going down the tractor slide, riding in the wagon, picking out pumpkins and going on a tractor ride through the corn fields, blackberries, sunflowers and pumpkin fields. We had such a fun day getting into the Halloween/Fall spirit!
