White Coat Ceremony

On Friday night Wyatt received his white coat for Dental School. It was a really neat experience and was really nice to have both our parents there to share this special day with Wyatt. I am so proud of Wyatt for making it this far and am so thankful for the all the sacrifices he makes for our family. I know Wyatt is going to be such a great Dentist soon!

Life this far in California..

We are finally all settled in little Pasadena and are loving our new home and all of the fun friends we are making along the way. We have been so busy with moving, celebrating birthdays, Wyatt starting Dental School and catching up with the family. Here are just some of the fun things that have been keeping us busy lately:
When we first arrived in California, our house wasn't ready for us to move into just yet so we stayed at my parents BeachHouse for a few days and celebrated Janie girls birthday.


We made a little trip down to beautiful Coronado Island and went to the beach with my sister Lisa and her family and of course ate at Phil's BBQ.

My parents helped us so much while we moved in so we decided to take a little break and head to the Dodgers game. We had phenomenal seats and a great time! We will be going to lots of Dodgers games since we live so close and the boys just love them!


We also celebrated Nicole's birthday at her house by having a yummy dinner and letting all the cousins play at the park. All my cute sisters..

A lot of the cousins, Aunt Jessi brought all the kids suckers and they were loving them...we miss you Kendal, Cole, Chris and Carsyn!

It was so much fun having Jessica and little Lucy in town...we miss them lots and wish we could see them more often. Isn't Lucy adorable?

We also made it to Disneyland AGAIN since our passes aren't blacked out anymore...Here is Crew with his favorite Monster, Sully.

Our time here in California has been great so far. It is so fun living so close to family, we feel so blessed to have the opportunity to live here for at least the next 4 years. Sorry this post was so long...I had to get it all updated...from now on I should be back to normal with my blog since we are finally all settled!

Congrats Fergie Family!

Congratulations to my sister Nicole and her family for their newest little addition. Lyla Marie Ferguson was born on August 12 at 4:39am and weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. Nicole had a DREAM delivery...the doctors actually had to wake her up to let her know she had to start pushing. It was such a neat experience to be in the room while Lyla entered this world. I love all my sisters so much and am so grateful that we are all so close to one another. Congrats Fergie's! We love you guys.

We had such a great summer out here in Minneapolis this year. We met some great people, made some great friends and had lots of fun. Minnesota is really a beautiful state and I will really miss all the pretty trees and lakes. We are really going to miss all of the great friends we made. It's so hard getting to know all of these great girls and then at the end of the Summer everyone just going there separate ways. I know we will all stay in touch. I will miss you girls! Thanks for all the fun memories! On Sunday we are out of here and on our way to Salt Lake City, Utah for Wyatt's best friends wedding. Then from there we are off to beautiful Pasadena, California where we will be moving into our cute little home. Moving. Moving. Moving...I can't wait for it to be over!

House hunting was frustrating but successful in southern California so we made a little pit stop in AZ before we are headed back to Minnesota for just a few more weeks. We miss you babe and can't wait to see you soon! Thanks for letting us have some vacation time this summer while you are hard at work.

The boys and I are off to southern California to find our little family a place to call home for the next four years while Wyatt attends dental school at USC. We are so excited to start this new chapter in our lives. Wish me luck finding a place...

We had such a great 4th with all of our friends out here for the Summer with us. We had a BBQ at Hyland Park, while the girls chatted the boys played some football and the kids ran around and had a ball playing in the water. For the fireworks we went to this little park by our house and let them off on the bball court. It was a great day...I wish it was the 4th of July everyday!
