Goodbye Legacy!

Crew had a great 1st grade year at Legacy Traditional School. We will miss all the friends we made at this beautiful school. Quartz Hill 2nd graders...watch out! Here comes Crew!

Crew is so excited to be a San Tan Scorpion!

I can't believe my little boy is already starting 1st grade. I think I'm ready for time to slow down a bit...Crew's new school is San Tan Elementary and he loves that their mascot is the Scorpions. I of course had to buy him a "scorpion" shirt to wear to school on Fridays. Crew loves his new teacher, Mrs. Tapia. She is so sweet and her classroom is decked out! Every last square inch in safari, jungle decor. Crew of course loves that! 

On Crew's first day of school he was so excited to take the bus to school. I was a bit hesitant and nervous to let him go because I was afraid he would get lost once at school and not know where to go but he seemed to manage just fine. I almost was that mom to follow the school bus to school to make sure he knew where he was going. But I figured he could do it, and he did and loved it!

Crew. 5 years old. Don Benito Elementary. Kindergarten. Mrs. Davis. 

Hudson. 3 years old. Sierra Madre. Pre-K. Ms. Bush. 

Crew was so excited to finally start Kindergarten. He had been asking me non stop when he was going to start and go to the "bobcat" school. He couldn't wait. We scored with Mrs. Davis! She is such a phenomenal teacher and I think the best one! (at least that's what I've heard) Crew goes all day from 8:45-3:10 and comes home exhausted! It's so sad to see my baby growing up and turning into a little boy. He is becoming more and more independent and smarter each day. I love you Crewbug!

Hudson started his second year of Pre-K with Ms. Bush at Sierra Madre Elementary. He is excited to be the bigger kid this year and I'm enjoying more one on one time with him in the mornings before he leaves for school. Hudson loves school and makes sure to always tell me what he ate for lunch everyday on the way home. I love this little boy so much!!

First Day of Pre-K!

Today was Crew and Hudson's first day of Pre-K (Crew's 2nd year of Pre-K and Hudson's 1st year). I am so glad that these two are able to attend school together and I know they're going to love having each other around. It's been so quiet around my house this morning just being home alone...I think it may take some time getting used to but I just know I'll appreciate these 3 hours more when our new baby comes. Crew and Hudson had no problem at all walking right into class and picking out a square to sit on for circle time. It's funny to see just how "big" Hudson thinks he is! I know it's going to be a great school year!
