New Years Day we went on a hike to the wind caves with John, Jude & Olive. It was all of our first time hiking up to the caves so I didn't know what to expect. It was a bit longer than I thought it would be but the kids did amaazing! They loved finding all kinds of rocks and sticks to play with along the way. Wyatt did amazing too for his first time hiking with his prosthetic leg. We love the outdoors!! We finished the night by meeting Sarah at dinner at Cantina Laredo.

Stuart and Morgan invited us over for a New Years Eve party...backyard brick oven pizzas and fireworks.

We had fun eating, catching up and watching the kids play. It was a blast!!

Later that evening we took the boys to Wyatt's parents house to play with their cousins and have them spend the night so we could stop by our other friends New Years Eve party.

This Christmas was extra special to us because we got to have Mimi & Papa in Arizona at our house all to ourselves! We had so much non stop fun with them!

We went to Bass Pro Shops to get a picture of the kids with Santa but not knowing you had to make a reservation we were turned away. So we spent about an hour just looking around the store and checking out all the animals and fish. Next year I know to make a reservation before we drive over there...

We also went bowling at FlipSide. My Dad was thrilled to bowl with the boys. ;) We all had such a fun time and were all terrible in our bowling game that day.

Christmas Eve a few of my friends told me about a Santa that would come by on Christmas Eve for only $25. So I booked him a few weeks ago not knowing how he'd be or what he'd look like. I'm not going to lie, he was a little creepy but the kids loved seeing him and sitting on his lap to tell him what they want for Christmas.

The boys happened to have both of their teams in the Championship Football game. I look forward to Saturdays all week because I just love watching both Crew and Hudson grow. They both just really get football and it seems to come easy to them. I'm sure Wyatt practicing almost everyday at the park had something to do with them playing so well too.

Hudson's team ended up loosing their championship game and Crew's team ended up winning. They both got trophys so they were beyond thrilled!
