4th of July

these two can't get enough of each other

Crew is such a little poser.

Tori.Mom.Me

just 4 of their 16 grandkids

Crew loves Papa Rick so much!

This year we had such a great 4th of July. We are usually out selling somewhere for the summer so since we are home for summers now, it was really nice spending the forth just relaxing with my family. We went down to my parents Beach House for the long weekend and had fun cooking up some yummy food, playing games, going out to dinner at Outback and then going to see grown-ups with my parents while the boys had a sitter, swimming (Crew is a little fish now that he can swim on his own!), hitting up Jack's for the sale, and of course watching fireworks over the Dana Point Harbor right in front of my parents house at pine's park. Thanks Mom and Dad for a fun little weekend. We love being with you guys!!

Fun with the Yetters!

Our good friends, Marcus and Jamie lived in California for a month so we tried to hang out with them as much as we could. We went to the Fashlion District (bought Crew and Lyza turtles), went to the grove and the farmers market in LA, the boys and I drove down to Long Beach (where the Yetters were staying) and Jamie and I took the kids to lunch and walked around in Belmont Shores and found the cutest little candy shop and had to indulge. We of course hit up the beach a few times, went to six flags to celebrate Jamie's birthday and also went to the midnight showing of Eclipse VIP style! (Thanks Krystal...you are the best!) It was so much fun having the Yetters close to us. You guys better get out here soon so we can play some more!! We better end up living next door to each other when we are both done with school! I miss you already Jamie!

Meet the newest members to our Family...

For some time now Crew has been asking for a pet...he has asked for a puppy a number of times and also a turtle. So a few weeks ago while we were at the Fashion District with our friends we gave in. And we even got two turtles for the price of one! Crew decided to name them Leonardo and Raphael (big surprise there!) Both of the boys love their turtles and look forward to feeding them each morning...welcome to our family turtles!!

{grateful}

Today I am feeling extra grateful for all three of these handsome boys in my life. It's so much fun to see how much they love each other and look out for one another. I love my boys!

Nana, Randee & Sharlie visit

Nana, Randee and Sharlie came to visit us in California so we tried to fit in the best things to do while they were here. Here are all of our pictures to prove just how much fun we had! (Sorry there are so many...)

The day they got in we took them to the Americana to show them all of the fun shops, the water show, the trolley and ate at Frida for dinner.

One of the big reasons Nana & Randee came was to check out the Fabric District that I always rave about...

On Saturday night we got a babysitter for all the kiddos and took on HOLLYWOOD! We walked by all the stars, saw Kodak Theater, the Chinese Theater, and even took a tour of Hollywood/Beverly Hills...and of course ended our night with a Diddy Riesse.

Of course we had to hit up the beach too...Manhatten Beach that is.

Monday was Randee's Birthday and the day we decided to go to Disneyland so for breakfast I made everyone blueberry mickey mouse pancakes.

We had so much fun. Come back and visit us soon!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day weekend we thought there was no better way to celebrate than to head down to the Beach House and hang out on the beach with family and friends. Our friends Danny and Lindsay meet us down there Sunday night and we made a yummy dinner (thanks Lindsay and Nicole!) and played games. On Monday we hit up the beach and had a fun day!

My 25th Birthday

I think this had to be one of my favorite birthday's yet...the day before my birthday my friend invited me to American Idol and of course I had to find a way to go (babysitters, etc.) Thank you Tori for watching my boys until Wyatt got home from school. We had so much fun!!! That night we sat just six rows from the front and were right by all the top 12 idols, by Anoop, Blake Lewis, Simon Fuller and many more fun celebs...well I was determined to get tickets to the finale show, so I went down with some girlfriends my bday morning and asked everyone waiting in line for their tickets if anyone had extras. So these two nice men pulled me asaide to tell me that they have two extra...score! So I waited in line with them (with Crew and Hud) and we got our tickets! I picked up a babysitter later that day and Wyatt and I went to the finale. It was incredible! So much fun being in the Nokia theater and seeing so many talented performers. Then we topped the night off with dinner at Houston's. It was a great day! And if this isn't enough, Wyatt spoiled me with jeans, candles, balloons, cupcakes, and a trip to HAWAII in August. I can't wait! Thanks for making my day so special Wyatt...I love you!

the boys new pool.

Wyatt insisted on getting this for the boys while we were at Costco the other day and I have to say I am glad we purchased it. The boys absolutely LOVE it! Now every morning when we wake up Crew asks..."Mom, is it warming up outside yet?"
