Cute Lyla and Huddy...He is obsessed with her.

On May 7th, my Uncle unexpectedly passed away so Tori and I and our boys piled in my car and made the trek up to Granite Bay for his funeral. I am so glad that I decided to go because it was a big testimony builder for me. I feel blessed just knowing what we know about life after death and knowing that we will return to our Heavenly Father and we will be all reunited when we pass and that we will be together FOREVER as families. We sang "Families can be together forever" at his funeral and I swear every time I sing that song, I start balling just because it's so true. FAMILY is what matters. And I love each and every single person so much in my family. I love having such a big family and appreciate everything they do for me and each other. I am so grateful for the example that my brother and sisters are to me. I love how close we all are with one another. I love how my mom would always tell us..."Now remember...No empty chairs." I feel the exact same way! We love you Uncle Gary!

We also decided to do some "fun" things while we were in GB so we went to the Folsom Zoo, rode the train, had a BBQ at Nana and Poppy's house with all our family, went out to Rick and Kelly's house so we could see the new chicken coup my brother just built, went swimming, played in the backyard with cousins and enjoyed playing games and chatting with one another. We love going and visiting Mimi and Papa's "big house" as all the grandkids say.

Palm Springs Mom & Kids Trip

All the kiddos....Hudson, Crew, Kooper and Sienna

My little Huddy.

Kooper and Crew love each other so much!

My boys and I soaking up the sun

All ready for bed

Crew loves showing off his swimming skills...

We fed the ducks lots and lots of bread

Loving bath time with friends and lots of bubbles!

All the kids were playing at the park and then Kristie found Crew over by the lake doing this....hilarious! (I swear I didn't teach him that!)

Loving the Splash Pad

My friend Kristie invited me and Sachia to have a little "get-away" for a couple of days. We had so much fun and lived in our swim suits all day every day. The kids had a blast with eachother and were so good! Thanks Kristie! We are going to make this a yearly trip weather you like it or not!! ;) I am going to miss having you and Kooper around! Good luck where ever you guys end up!

Mother's Day at the BeachHouse

We spent Mother's Day at the BeachHouse with most all the family. (We missed Rick and Jessica's families) All of the cousins love getting together so they can play/wrestle. So went went across the street from my parents house to get some energy out of the little ones and to snap a few photos. We were all in goofy moods as you can tell :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to two of the most amazing mother's I know. You are both so kind and generous in everything that you do. I look up to you so much and I hope that I can be half the mom you were to me/Wyatt to my boys. Now that I am a mom I appreciate even more of what you do every single day. You are both so selfless and think of everyone else before yourselves. I admire you for that. Thanks for being so beautiful inside and out. Thanks for your example. We love you both so much. Happy Mother's Day!

Mike, Ashley and Halle's Visit

During Wyatt's last week of spring break our good friends, the Smith's drove from Utah to visit us for a few days. We had so much fun with them and wished they lived closer (maybe soon!). Crew and Hudson were obsessed with baby Halle and still talk about her. While Mike and Ashley were here we took them to Baby Blues BBQ, through Hollywood, and walked around Rodeo Drive, got pedicures, stayed at the BeachHouse, got a Balboa Bar, went to Disneyland, played games, and chatted the nights away. We miss them already! Thanks for being such great friends to our family.

Just something cute to share:
Just the other day Crew said,
"Mom, I want to have a baby sister." and I replied..."well, what do you mean?" and Crew responds, "like Lucy!" (his cousin) And he proceeds to say, "Yay, Lucy really likes me Mom, she always goes...Crew, Crew, Crew!"

And today we were driving down the street and Crew said,
"Mom, this is the street that Papa Rick drove me down yesterday to Pei Wei."
and I asked...
"What Crew?" and he said this back to me...
"Mom, focus on me...this is the way Papa took me and Hudson to lunch yesterday to Pei Wei!"

Another funny one:
Crew said, "Mom...when I get bigger I want to go on American Idol so I can meet Ellen."

Crew literally cracks me up with something funny he says everyday and I have to share it with someone so my Mom or Dad usually gets a call everyday with a funny "Crew Story."

Thank you ELLEN!

On Thursday I went to the Ellen Show and she gave the audience this awesome beach blanket for two that folds into a bag:

and $150 gift card for here:
My Mom, sisters and I had a blast. Thanks Ellen for making my day!

I know the church is true...

This video is incredible. It will make you cry....I can't believe how STRONG Stephanie Neilson is. I admire her so much and don't know if I could ever be as positive as she is while she is going through her trial. This video of her and her family just made me realize how much The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. Just how everything happens for a reason and that trials are only given to us to make us STRONGER as individuals. Everyone has such different trials but no trial we are given we cannot handle. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ, the atonement, the Book of Mormon and our wonderful Prophets council. I am so grateful that I am a member of this true church and feel blessed that Heavenly Father entrusted me to raise my beautiful two little boys. I am especially grateful that my boys will grow up in the church. There is nothing that touches my heart more than when Crew says his little prayers every night before we go to bed. It is crazy to me to see his little testimony growing more and more each day. Today I am GRATEFUL. Today my heart is full.
