A fun day at the Zoo

The other day my friend Brittney and I took Crew and Madison to the Phoenix Zoo. We had such a fun time looking at all the animals. I wasn't too impressed with this Zoo. There were way too many hills and not very many animals. I think it's time they re-do this zoo. Maybe I am just spoiled because we've been to the San Diego Zoo before and this doesn't even compare. We are looking forward to going to Southern California this week to go to Sea World and to hang out with my sisters. It should be lots of fun! Oh yeah...we are also finding out the sex of baby #2 on Saturday. We will let you know...let me know your guess??

He loved the pageant. I was in shock to see how amazed he was at everything from the angels to all the animals. He really enjoyed every minute of it. Crew even sat in his little chair I brought him for a good part of the show. We had such a fun night. Thanks for coming with us Brooke and Bryten! And Carli...if you are looking at this, I am so sad but the picture that lady took of all of us didn't turn out. I was so bummed...You did an amazing job though. It was so fun to see you!!!

Crew's Top 2 Favorite things to do...

1. Playing outside... whether he's swimming, driving his car, playing at the park, feeding the ducks or just taking a walk he is always having a good time when he is outside!
2. Eating...Crew loves to eat and he will not eat unless he feeds himself as you can see in the pictures. He loves food so much and is such a great little eater!

BIG NEWS!

SURPRISE #1...SURPRISE #2. First came Crew and now comes Baby #2!!! Crew is going to be a BIG brother and we couldn't be happier! Baby #1 and Baby #2 will be 21 months apart. Baby #2 is due October 14. SURPRISE!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I love Valentines day. It is such a special day to show your love and appreciation to those who matter most in your life. So far it has already been a great day. We woke up and made blueberry heart shaped pancakes and later today I am going to try to make Sprinkles' Strawberry Cupcakes...I will let you know how they turn out. Then to avoid the crowds, Wyatt is taking me out to dinner tomorrow night. We don't know where yet, I kind of want to try something new so let me know if you have any suggestions?! I wish you all a very Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Our Newest Addition...

Papa bought Crew a puppy for his 1st Birthday. We already love him so much and he fits in our family so well. But now it's time to name the little guy. So here are some names we like have so far: Hinckley, Benson, Taft, Nash, Ryder, Rolo. Let us know what you think and if you have any other cute name?! Thanks Papa for my puppy...I love him so much!

Hopefully that's what I will be saying by the end of next summer. We are on our way to St. Louis, Missouri this summer where Wyatt will be working for APX Alarm. I have to admit that I was super nevous about going here. After a quick google search I found out that it's the #1 most dangerous city in the United States. I was pretty negative about it when I first found out but now I am starting to warm up to the idea. I know that it is only temporary so I just have to look at it like it's an adventure. So...Ready or Not? St. Louis here we come!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Crew Bug!

As crazy as this sounds our little Crew is already 1. We had a cute little celebration for him with family and friends. Crew is so grateful for all his aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents that give him the attention that he needs. Not only have you helped make this the best year of Crew's life but it has also been the best year of our lives. I can't imagine what life would be like without his sweet spirit around. He has changed our lives forever. I am just so grateful to have been blessed with such a great baby who has always slept through the night, has never been too fussy and who has also endured many hours of his moms shopping escapades. Crew you truly are heaven sent. We love you Crew Bug!!!

We went on a quick little last minute trip to Utah on business. We had so much fun staying with our good friends Sam and Erin. We miss them so much a wish we lived closer to each other. Our family also had fun spending time with Dallas and Jessica and Mimi and Papa. Thank you to everyone who made this weekend so great. We love you all!

Happy New Year!!!

We had such a great New Years. We decided to go to California to stay at the Beach House so we could spend some time with my brother and his family. They live up in Sacramento so we aren't able to see them as much as we would like to. We had such a fun trip shopping in Newport, walking around in Huntington Beach and going to Disneyland. We spent all day on New Years at Disneyland. It was such a fun experience. Crew loved it even more this time than last. We were able to see it "snow" there and we danced our way into the new year with our hats and horns they passed out to everyone. What a fun experience we will never forget...Thanks for making our vacation so fun Rick, Kelly, Kendal, Cole, Chris and Carsyn!!! We love you!!

Stocking Treats

We had such a great Christmas this year. We spent this holiday with Wyatt's family. It was fun having Beegh and Randee home for Christmas. We miss them and very rarely get to see them since they now live in Ohio. We were able to talk to Elder Dannels on the phone and it was neat hearing all of his stories. It is so crazy that he is coming home this YEAR! It also was fun having some of our friends here for the holidays and seeing them as well. Crew had a great 1st Christmas and was spoiled by his Nana, Papa, Mimi and Papa and his parents. He has so many new fun toys to play with that he can never decide which one to use. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope everyone had a great New Year!
